The short version

Delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, in a few taps — the sign-in, the saves, the groups, the notes, the lot. Can't get to the app? Email hello@ozaic.app and a human runs the same deletion for you.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route, and it needs no email and no waiting.

Profile tab→gear→Settings→Your data→Delete account & data

Confirm Delete everything and it is done, immediately and without recovery — your account and everything listed below. You'll be signed out, and there's nothing left to come back to.

Use this if you can't reach the app, or if you've already uninstalled it. It removes exactly the same things — it's the same deletion, run by hand.

Email us from the address you sign in with, so we can be sure it's you. Say delete my account — nothing else is required.

We action it promptly — usually within a couple of days, and always within 30. You'll get one confirmation when it's done, and then nothing ever again.

What a full account deletion removes

Your account — the sign-in itself and the email address behind it.
Your profile — handle, avatar and discoverability setting.
Your saves — every saved link, with its note, tags and thumbnail.
Your zaics — the groups and collections you made, and the tiles inside them.
Your notes — anything you wrote on a tile, in your groups or anyone else's.
Your memberships — your place in groups other people made, and their record of you.
Your follows — in both directions.
Your activity history — the private record of what you saved and came back to, which only ever belonged to you.

Deleting an account you made a group with also removes that group for everyone in it. If a group should outlive you, hand it to someone else before you go — or tell us in the same email and we'll sort it.

What stays, and why

Ozaic keeps a plain record of the posts people save — a link, a title, a thumbnail — so a post someone else saved doesn't vanish when you leave. Once your account is gone, nothing in that record points back at you.

Cached post thumbnails live in a separate private store and are non-identifying. Ask in the same email and we'll clear those too.

Before you go

If you only want a copy of what you kept, Settings → Your data → Export my data hands you the whole pile as text — no account required, and nothing leaves your device unless you send it somewhere.
