Ozaic keeps the things you save in one calm place. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't load third-party tracking or analytics. You can delete everything you've stored at any time — for good.
Ozaic is a product of Sysmic Labs. This policy covers the Ozaic mobile app and the Ozaic web app at ozaic.app. Questions? Email hello@ozaic.app.
Ozaic mobile app. When you sign in, the items you save, the collections you create, and your preferences are stored in your account on our servers so your mosaic is there when you return and stays in sync across your devices. This is protected by row-level security so it's only ever accessible to your own account. You do not need an account to use Ozaic. While you are signed out, your saved items and collections stay on your device rather than in an account, and when you later sign in they are adopted into it. Saving a link always sends that link to our servers so we can fetch its title and preview image, and we keep a copy of that preview image — this happens whether or not you are signed in.
Ozaic web app (ozaic.app/app). If you sign in, we collect:
Early-access waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit so we can let you know when access opens.
We do not collect your contacts, location, device identifiers for advertising, or browsing activity, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
To run the web app we rely on a small number of infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
When you save a post, Ozaic stores a copy of its thumbnail image on our servers so the picture can survive if the original is later deleted or made private. That copy lives in a private storage bucket — it is not publicly reachable, and we don't currently serve it to the app. We keep it until you ask us to remove it: email hello@ozaic.app and we'll take care of it.
When you save a link from Instagram, Threads, or Facebook, Ozaic can show the original post inside the app. To do this we ask Meta's official oEmbed service for that post's public embed code and render it. The request is made by our server, so no Meta credentials are ever stored in the app, and we send only the post's public URL — never your identity or your other saved items.
The embedded post itself loads directly from Meta, which means Meta may receive standard technical request information (such as your IP address) and may set cookies, just as if you had opened the post on their site. That content is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. We don't share your Ozaic data with Meta, and a post is only ever embedded because you chose to save it.
In the mobile app: open Profile → Settings → Your data → Delete account & data. This permanently deletes your account itself — your sign-in and the email address behind it — along with your saved items, your zaics and the notes in them, your memberships in other people's groups, your follows and your private activity history. It happens on our servers, so it is reflected across every device and any signed-in session, and you are signed out when it completes. Cached post thumbnails are non-identifying images shared across everyone who saved the same post and are kept separately from your account; to have your copies removed as well, email hello@ozaic.app.
By email: if you can't reach the app, email hello@ozaic.app from your account address and we'll run the same deletion by hand. We'll action it promptly.
A step-by-step version of both routes lives at ozaic.app/delete-account.
We keep your account information and saved items for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or your data, we remove it from our active systems. Waitlist emails are kept until launch or until you ask us to remove them.
Ozaic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these, email hello@ozaic.app and we'll help.
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Ozaic after a change means you accept the updated policy.
